Dear Alaskans -
I'm all too familiar with taking on the government establishment, having been targeted and forced to fight and defend myself at great personal cost - the same thing the late U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens experienced. Alaska needs a new, tenacious senator with the kind of free-market principles and a philosophy of limited government control to break Washington's and Harry Reid's grip on Alaska, its resources and people and to help turn our economy around. I believe I am the right person for the job, which is why I'm running as an independent candidate for the United States Senate.

Former Alaska state representative

-- I have withdrawn as a candidate effective September 2, 2014, in hopes of electing Republican Dan Sullivan. Poll suggest I may draw enough votes away from Sullivan and tip the race to Democrat Begich. I therefore urge my supporters to unite behind Dan. --

Update (November 2014): Sullivan narrowly defeated Incumbent Mark Begich by 2.2%.

Thank you for making a difference.
